Moose? I'm An Elk. Geez, Already

Yes, I do know the difference between a moose and an elk but I just couldn't help myself. Well, he was grazing happily when I told the children to eek ever so close and move to the side so I can get a photo. I think I got my photo!

If You Give A Moose A Muffin

I don't think he was looking for any blueberry muffins the morning we ran into him during a nice afternoon hike. However, I would love to see him covered in paint with a bed sheet stuck in his antlers!

Grand Canyon Wildlife

We were having this great talk by a ranger on the sediment/erosion pros and cons in the canyon water when, Oh! Look who came to take a closer look.

Camping at the Grand Canyon with Friends

We did a whirlwind camping trip this past weekend, and boy was it worth all the time and effort. I love being there, it really gets in your blood

Coffee Addicts

This documents the number of coffee mugs found in Pilar's car! I was wondering what happened to all the insulated mugs, but it didn't take me long to deduce where they were stashed; in a hot, sweltering car, of course!

ATV'n

Here's the latest Keating toy. The boys are waiting for John to get home from Iraq so they can go rompin'.

Fr. Tim

I love this photo! Tim was in kindergarten, so it was easy for me to influence him to dress as a priest for the St. Theresa's Halloween Party. It's not the best pic because I took it on my cell phone, but I was too excited to learn it was saved.. and now I can stare at it until eternity! He's too stinkin' cute :)

Matthew's Confirmation Project for injured Marines

For my nephew's confirmation project at OLPH in Scottsdale, Matthew chose to get donations for the Simper Fi Fund. The monies received, well over $1,000, went to injured Marines. Way to go, Matthew!

PJ2

I really love Pope John Paul. He was the only pope I knew because I am a convert to the Catholic Christian faith. He was a wonderful example of humble faith, and he inspired me to grow closer to God. I guess it's a good time to confess that I did write the Vatican following his death for a relic. I'm sure I'm in good company!

Thomas Graduates from OLPH, Scottsdale

Our nephew, Thomas, graduated from 8th grade at OLPH in Scottsdale last month. It was a beautiful Mass, and we were very proud of him when he delivered one of only three speeches. Congratulations, Thomas. We love YOU!
